Facebook Messenger app for your smart phones

Posted by TechGeek on August 10, 2011

Facebook is certainly moving faster in a social networking race with new features. Last month they announced a new product called video-chat, and now they came up with Facebook Messenger app. Messenger is a stand-alone mobile application that lets you message friends right on their phones. You can now get and send messages directly to friends quickly on their mobile phones, so you stay connected wherever you go.

Facebook Messenger app is integrated with your Facebook chats and messages, so it can be saved as part of your conversations on Facebook. Messenger is now available for iPhone and Android devices, and will soon be available for Blackberries. The good thing is that, people who do not have Messenger on their mobile device will receive your messages as texts.

You can also make group conversation with this messenger. This Messenger also supports location mapping, so you can see where the people are. You can have complete control over messages settings where one can start, stop or resume messaging. If you are using iPhone or Android devices, you can get the app by searching for “Facebook Messenger” in your phone’s app store.

Facebook Messenger app is free of cost and certainly looks like a faster messenger for mobile. People will be eager to use this app immediately.
